Produced in Taiwan, the world’s quality capital for high tech manufacturing, it is built to a standard, which traditionally has only been associated with radios costing a $1000 or more. Bluetooth^TM

GTR is available with built-in Bluetooth operation, making it one of the few two way radios globally available. GTR’s Bluetooth functionality has been uniquely configured for two-way radio use unlike many of the “add-on” solutions offered elsewhere. Our Bluetooth allows you to not only use most low cost “garden variety” Bluetooth audio accessories but also the most sophisticated, high technology Peltor advanced industrial headsets and similar.

Military Standard

The GTR is rated to meet IP-54 environmental conditions for dust and rain as well as Mil Std 810C/D/E & F. Naturally, it features a rock-solid, aluminium die-cast chassis with an ultra-rugged, high impact, polymer blend housing making it the perfect choice for the most extreme weather conditions.

250 Plus Channels

The GTR portable hand-held radio is capable of operating on up to 256 channels all with alpha naming. The both the  popular XU1 450-520MHz and XU2 403-478 MHz models can be ordered  pre-programmed with the new 80 licence free* UHF CB simplex and repeater channels, and also with 16 on-site “private” channels that stop annoying traffic from others who may be on the same UHF CB frequency. The GTR-XV1 model can be ordered to operate on Radio Warehouse's exclusive VHF Repeater channel or on your own channel.  If you already have, or would like your own private frequency, just email your requirements to us regarding personalised radio programming when you order the personalised programming option.

OPTIONS:

XBT Bluetooth operation

this option integrates the global standard bluetooth into Wireless Pacific GTR Radio to deliver the ultimate user experience and comfort for professional radio operation. Note: Headset is not included - select either WPBTH-GTR or WPABT-GTR or you can use any other bluetooth headset you have available.

XBATT Upgraded 2000mA Li-Pol Battery

This option deletes the standard 1700mA Li Ion battery and provides a 2000mA higher capacity Li-Pol battery. The larger battery is slightly thicker but provide about 20% longer shift life.

XDELBATT Deletes Battery

This option deletes the battery completely. Order if you require spare radios or plan to use over the counter/supermarket AAA batteries with the WPGTR-C00 battery adaptor.

XANT Alternate Stubby Antenna

This provides an alternate Stubby antenna instead of the standard 18cm flexible whip antenna. The stubby antenna is only about 4 cm long. Note the default stubby antenna provided operates best in the 470-480MHz band which includes the Australia CB band. Contact us for other frequency needs.

XCHGR Delete Charger

This option deletes the single unit charger provide as part of the GTR radio package. This option saves you the cost of the charger when you plan to use the GTR with our 6 or 12 way multi-chargers or our Dual/Quad or Mobile vehicle chargers.

X3YRW Extended 3 year Warranty

By selecting this option, the warranty on the Wireless Pacific GTR Professional Portable Radio unit can be extended for a total of 36 months from the date of purchase. Naturally, this extended warranty does not cover associated accessories, however any defective accessory will be replaced during the post 12 month standard warranty period at 30% off the then current published price.

Standard Warranty

All GTR Radios are covered by a full and comprehensive warranty and are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship including any associated accessories (i.e. battery, antenna whip, belt clip, audio accessories, desktop charger, etc.) for 12 months from the date of purchase. Wireless Pacific will, at its option, replace or repair parts found defective and pay return shipping to the registered owner.

The warranty applies only to the original owner and does not apply to a GTR radio, which we determine has failed due to physical damage, corrosion, accident, unauthorised or improper use, repair or modification. The owner is responsible for the transportation costs of the equipment back to the place of purchase. In no case will Wireless Pacific accept responsibility for incidental or consequential damages.

**NEW** XFKP Full Keypad Model

This option allows you to use the keypad to numerically enter channels, Selective call  ID's, DTMF dialling, Pin codes, etc. rather than scrolling up and down. Whatever you have programmed into the radio the keypad makes access quick and easy. Some features require personalised programming. Contact us if you have questions.
